Welcome to the Wine Country Half Marathon Series

The Wine Country Half Marathon Series is for runners and wine lovers.

For the eleventh year in a row, the Napa to Sonoma Wine Country is back. On July 19, 2015, the 13 miles that span from Napa to Sonoma and encompasses farmland, wildlife and above all, scenic views and countless vineyards, will be taken over by 3,500 men and women who have a love for wine and a need for speed. Welcoming runners and wine enthusiasts from across the country and around the world, this celebration of life and vine takes runners on one of the most scenic courses on the West Coast. All are encouraged to watch the runners as they take on 13.1-mile course that begins at Cuvasion Carneros Winery and ends at the historic and scenic Sonoma Plaza. Nevertheless, only those who run a minimum of a 16-minute mile and who have purchased registration in advance may actually participate in the race, and out of all of the half marathons on Sonoma Wine Country, this is the one you won't want to miss.

Wine Country Half Marathon Series

In addition to the race itself, there are also events that participants are more than welcome to attend. Over the past 10 years, these events have become as popular as the race itself. From the pre-race welcome party to the post-race Wine Country Half Marathon festival, the Wine Country Half Marathon Series is an event you will not want to miss.

Individual registration has already sold out, the VIP Estate Packages have sold out but charity bibs are still available for purchase. And much like registration for the Napa to Sonoma Half Marathon itself, hotel accommodations are selling out quickly. Fortunately, the Hilton Sonoma Wine Country Hotel, conveniently located near the marathon, is offering special packages exclusive for the race that include advance purchase rates. Plan ahead and save. Include Hilton in your holiday plans, and you can save up to 20 percent off our Best Available Rate by booking in advance.
